HackAI - HOW JUDGING WORKS

Optimize your project for the Judges!

The Dell & NVIDIA teams and Judges are eagerly awaiting to see what you built! As you continue to work on your project over the next few weeks, keep in mind how the judging process works.

Stage One) The first stage will determine via pass/fail whether the ideas meet a baseline level of viability, in that the Project reasonably fits the theme and reasonably applies the required APIs/SDKs featured in the Hackathon.

Stage Two) The second stage will determine which projects rank within the Top 25 submissions. Eligible submitters will be notified on or around October 26, 2024. Feedback from the Dell & Nvidia teams will be provided to the Top 25 submissions. All edits and modifications to the top 25 projects must be finalized and sent to Dell & Nvidia by November 4, 2024 before 5:00 PM PT. Instructions on how to submit the updates to Dell & Nvidia will be emailed before October 26, 2024.

Stage Three) All Submissions that pass Stage One will be evaluated in Stage Three based on the following equally weighted criteria (the “Judging Criteria”):

Entries will be judged on the following equally weighted criteria, and according to the sole and absolute discretion of the judges:

  1. Technological Implementation
Does the project demonstrate quality software development? Does the project leverage the NVIDIA AI workbench? How is the quality of the code? Is there a balanced blend of frontend and backend in the software?

  2. Demonstration
Is the demo video and explanation of the project well thought out? Is it clear how this project showcases the NVIDIA AI Workbench?

  3. Potential Impact
How big of an impact could the project have on the Dell & NVIDIA community? How big of an impact could it have beyond the target community?

  4. Quality of the Idea
How creative and unique is the project? Does the concept exist already? If so, how much does the project improve on it?

Best of luck as you continue to prepare for the judges!
